What do the standard KYC Profiles do?

Below are the profiles you can select to run specific types of checks within the Muinmos solution.
 
I. Core Screening Profile

Description
PEP, Sanctions & Adverse Media
This profile conducts a screening for individuals or corporate entities against Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) lists, Sanctions lists, and Adverse Media sources.
Data Requirements for Core Screening:
  • For Individuals:
    • Required: First and Last Name.
    • Optional (Recommended): Adding 'Middle Name' and 'Date of Birth (DOB)' will help narrow the search results if the source data includes these attributes.
  • For Corporates:
    • Required: Company Name and Jurisdiction (Country/Region).
II. Enhanced Individual Checks

Description
Individual Check
This is a comprehensive check that includes the PEP, Sanctions & Adverse Media screening, and also requires the user to submit a Proof of Identity (POI) for validation and to upload a Proof of Residence (POR) document.
 
Optional Add-ons: You can further enhance this profile by adding Liveness Detection and/or Source Address Verification.
III. Enhanced Corporate Checks

Description
Corporate Basic Check
This profile conducts a primary check against corporate data and includes the PEP, Sanctions & Adverse Media screening for the corporate entity itself.
Corporate Full Check
This profile includes all checks from the Corporate Basic Check plus a screening of the relevant beneficial owners/directors:
 
1. It will first ask for the number of Directors/Shareholders.
 
2. It will then request information for the following individuals:
 
  • Two Directors (or one if a sole director).
  • Shareholders with 25% or more ownership. 
 
The language for this page can be changed should you wish to capture other types of individuals. 
 
 
3. For each identified individual, the system will ask for their personal information, POI, and POR, and conduct PEP, Sanctions & Adverse Media screening, POI validations, and request the POR upload. |
Note on Configuration: We are happy to change the profile labels to any wording or phrasing of your choice to better align with your needs or internal terminology. We can also assist with adding new profiles.
